Ok we had quite a good ride with about 30 turning out to accompany our Northern guests. We took the route proposed by Jim2, which was much the same as our July ride route.

Morning tea at Flying Fish in Martinborough, followed by lunch at Wild Oats in Carterton this time.

Martinborough is a motorcycling mecca - there was our ride going on, I spotted some Ulysses guys on the way over, saw Chris Parkin with a few friends outside Martinborough hotel as we arrived, the Triumph Rat riders were at Flying Fish when we got there, plus Mark Dunn and friends. Then the TSS ride crew went by.

I rode in the middle group with Paul in the lead on his Guzzi. The road was a bit mucky in places compared to when we last did it and as noted by Hitcher yesterday.

I still never got to meet Mr & Mrs Hitcher nor Celticno6 who was MIA again as he said he would be. Whatever, we had a great time anyway.

What about this guy in the pic - man does he looked trashed, you'd think he was white trash wouldn't you.

I may not get this all right, but:
First pic that's White Trashes bike next to Hamish's BMW with Lynda's Monster next to that and then Alan's GSXR. That's Quasievil walking away in the black beanie.
Second pic from left is Hamish, Cajun, then Alan (is that right?), then Slingshot and Lynda behind my VFR which is next to Quasi's 636.
Third pic Lynda with Adrian (not a KBer but a Ulyssian - rides the PC800), Slingshot and Mrs Slingshot, Quasi, Cajun and Slingshot's bikes and PaulinNZ just pulling up on the Guzzi.
Fourth pic - now self explanatory.

Geez this is getting tiring, no wonder we don't normally label our pics.

About as long as that Triumph - that is one large motorcycle.

I might have to let Lynda do the fine tuning on that as she's better at names than me and she knows everybody as well.

I'll keep posting the pics and maybe I'll have time to go back later and edit some names in, just thought I'd better get the pics posted so those on the ride can see them.
