Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

There are so many levels to all the stereotypes in this film that it's not really about anything.

I think that little theatre holds the world record for showing this movie over the longest period. I recall the good old days of talking a bag with water bombs, rice and burnt toast. Utter carnage.

Midnight session? Hate to have been the cleaner after those nights. All the rice and newspapers... and pieces of toast - and playing cards!!!!
    Ahh. Memories.

Yep seen it tonnes of times.

I saw it live at the Aotea centre about 4 years ago. Had lots of NZ
actors in it (Mikey Havoc played the guy in the wheelchair)

I must admit I sunk right down in my seat at the end when they all came
down off the stage and grabbed people outa the audience to take them
back up onto the stage to dance....whew

Ahh the problem here is you still think you have dignity and pride to lose! Once you get ride of that illusion, nothing is impossible, downright embarassing or painful! Works a treat for me - after all, I'm a teacher!

Remember, those memories are the ones that you'll treasure for years and groan over what a tool you were!

I look forward to those moments!

Now, where is that lamp-shade and Singstar?

    Madness ... takes its toll!

lol actually I had heeled boots on and I didn't wanna get up on
stage and "break a leg" ...so to speak. (have already done that once - and believe me pride and dignity goes right out the window at that point!)

Seen the show about 4 times, including Muldoons effort, the movie about mumble times, and done the dress up thing a few times. Bloody good fun, including the memories I give it a 9.5 on the fun scale.
