    VMCC winter series transponders

    Hey all,
if your intending on racing the winter series you will probably be aware of the need for transponder hire or purchase. Hireage is $30 per day ($210) for the series... or you can purchase the Direct Powered: $506.25 and Rechargable: $562.50. A few of us who are keen to race a few series' think purchasing over hire a good option.

However VMCC only had a limited number to purchase and now need an order of 30 before they place another discounted bulk order. So if you are keen to purchase a transponder (that can be later onsold) please let VMCC know via email: admin@vicclub.co.nz as soon as you can so we can get another order on tis way! They are open to purchase to club members only, but membership is only $35 for first year ($25 subsequent) and you get discounted entry into the series with your membership.

So come on people who were sitting on the fence or put off ordering till another day.... time to get your a into g the series starts may 20!

If the club was keen to move a few transponders, why not offer them to any MNZ member not just vmcc. Im guessing they are the same ones used for roadracing and sold on mylaps.com.

we sold all the transponders we got in.

we were getting them in bulk to pass the discount onto members. we're not interested in shifting numbers.

anyone can buy them direct from AMB in australia http://www.amb-it.com

we might get another batch in soon if funds permit - it's a big risk on our behalf to buy 30 or more transponders up front hoping that people will want to buy them

fully SVS... which is why I thought i'd try and drum up some interest from the KBers who race... and potentially do the series....
i'm looking at getting one from the US when i'm over there in june..... withthe exchange rate it works out pretty cheap...

I brought a rechargable one of these but plans have now changed so if any Vic clubmember wants to buy it for what I paid ($562.50) send a PM. Wont be holding it for anyone so first to front up with the dollars owns.
