Hey folks, Taupo was great fun!
Unfortunatly the person I had arranged to meet in Wellington and stay with before riding back to Auckland with them pulled out at the last minute... was a big bugger in my plans. Did not fancy going all the way down and back etc on my lonesome so just came back to Auckland last night...
Thanks to those that PM'd with offer of accomodation etc, much appreciated. Will have to put some more time aside in a few weeks or so and go down.
...time to clean the flies off the bike and gear and unpack everything...
Fully laden top box and heavy tank bag, and the poor girl was a pain at slow speeds about town... Will have to travel 'lighter' in the future I think!

Same here, we went to One Red Dog for lunch anyway, Me, Col and a chick from my office, so at least I had some company. Nice wines and pizza.
The chick was happy, she'd met Col before and got another hug from him (as she would - coz that's waht he does), but mind you I'm not sure that I really needed one too Col.
See you in Welly next time then Dan.
Cheers
