How stupid are Auckland bus drivers?

Just off the Stuff Web Site:

Pedestrian dies after bus hit-and-run in Auckland

in Auckland are investigating a fatal hit and run involving a Stagecoach bus.

A middle-aged Asian man was hit when standing on or near the footpath on Dominion Rd, 20 metres south of St Albans Ave on the city-bound side.

The driver of the Stagecoach bus stopped at a bus stop slightly further along the road, got out and looked towards the injured man, then got back in the bus and continued on his journey, police said.

Police located the driver sometime later but have not interviewed him. He is seeking legal advice.

This was just one Auckland bus driver...............I am sure this does not reflect the majority..........maybe he panicked (not saying that is right) but it is not an uncommon reaction / agony of the moment.

    Doesn't this theme sound familiar......

Correct you are confused Finn old boy.........I do worry that you make these 'out of the closet' comments but not for me to delve into eh?.........I think you need to rub shoulders less with Dover cause he suffers the same agony you do.

My point was - if you are going to do a hit and run, don't be in a vehicle that can be tracked easily.
Any bus driver should have stopped, panicked or not, you don't just leave with someone injured / dead. And the fact that he appears to have lawyered up before the police got to him (or her) speaks volumes about guilt.
I guess I have a thing about bus drivers, been cut off, had them look me straight in the eye then pull out in front, fail to give way too many times to have much sympathy. I'm sure there are some good ones, but some pretty terrible ones too.

Maybe I'm just a little bit gay. Is that possible?
