Blah Disco Dan coming to Wellington!

Im going to Taupo on sunday for the track day, and afterwards I plan to continue on to Wellington... yes thats right.. Disco Dan will be coming to Wellington!!! Lock up your daughters!

Seriously though, I would like to meet up with a few KB wellingtonians while im there.

I also dont have any where to stay in Wellington yet... I will bring my tent and find a suitable public roundabout to set up camp, but if anyone can offer me accomodation it would be much appreciated!

Im not sure what time I will be leaving Taupo, or how long it will take to get to wellington from Taupo but hey...

I would like to spend monday in Wellington having a wander around then ride back to Auckland in the evening.

Anyone wishing to join me is welcome!

    Thanks in advance!

    Disco

Also... an interesting point is my map only goes as far as hamilton. So may be an interesting trip for the directionally challanged moi !

Yeah and its a bloody long and boring ride from taupo to wellington (apart from the desert road) unless you go the long way, and the short way is long enough...

Dan, have fun on your wee trip mate, might be a good idea to get a better map?

I was told to get onto the Southern Motorway out of Auckland sit on Hwy 1 until Taupo.

From Taupo get back onto Hwy 1 and head south. Then after a few hours the wind will blow me off my bike and then im in wellington.

    Is that right?
