    SBK - Round 5 Assen

Stayed up to watch both races. Glad I did - bloody fantastic racing.

Go the mighty Honda!!! Seems Suzuki is on a downward spiral. They are now 4th in the constructors points... out of 5. That's second from the bottom in technical terms.

Kawasaki. I didn't count MV as they didn't turn up for the race. It conflicted with the riders' manicure appointment.

Good racing alright! Hmm constructors points. How many Hondas and Ducatis are racing in the series cf Kawasaki and and Suzuki? How many Honda riders have won a race other than JT (who is looking in awesome form)?

Could argue the same in the SuperSports. Not a lot of bikes other than the Hanspree Hondas winning there either. Mind you there aren't a lot of bikes other than Honda and Yamaha racing there either.

In fact if you take the Hanspree team out of the equation.

So because Honda are so good, they should have a handicap? (here we go)

Shit I always thought they were a handicap. Nah I don't really give a rodent's posterior. I 've always been a Suzuki fan (kind of like being a Hurricanes supporter), but that's my burden.

Still stand by my statement about looking at Manufacturers points. Honda or Ducati have always had the most bikes in Superbikes, so they're going to pick up the most points (unless Suzuki have another 2005 season). Same thing in MotoGP. Big deal.

Brilliant racing. Bayliss said in the post race interview that he & Toseland are pushing beyond the limits. Looks like the Pirelli boys will be putting in some overtime this week.

Haga is on fire, making the R1 look very respectable.
