Am I the only one not driving round Auckland going through people's rubbish?
There's been a steady flow of pikey twats driving up and down our close all day today, seeing what's been left out for the bin men.

It's only when you take the piss out of a partially shaved wookie with an overactive 'me' gene and stapled on piss flaps that it becomes a problem.
I was staying in Sandringham last week while up there for a conference and couldn't believe what was left out on the streets! In some areas you couldn't even see the footpath! One place had three fridges outside - and what's with all the beds? Do all Aucklanders pee their beds or something?
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!
hell, if i was up there, id be digging!! i love that kinda thing... never know what treasures people will throw out!

the really happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery when on a detour.
Pikeys? We prefer the term Opportunists. People throw out some pretty useful and valuable things. I found a perfectly good SLR camera a while ago that sold on tardme for $50, and a mate of mine found a nearly complete tama drum kit that just needed some new skins.
My signature is cooler than yours.
The 'rubbish' you are seeing is called inorganic collection. Makes the streets look disgusting for awhile.... but is meant to help out. The council comes along during the week and picks it all up and disposes of it. Apparently it is illegal to pick anything up, but you see people doing it all the time
I'm gonna make it so PC
You are lucky to have an inorganic rubbish collection, we have to pay to dump our junk up here. Mind you it is well past its use by date if it ends up in our rubbish. Maha man has problems when power tools die........i almost have to prise them from his grasp, and he always cuts off plugs and the like, no idea why, he has well and truely let all the useable smoke out of them...![]()
We have a shed full of stuff that could have gone to inorganic... we put nothing up there! Pyro is a hoarder!!!

Well when you see what people throw away I don't blame others for picking through peoples rubbish...
There is people who have lost everything due to house fires, floods etc etc and yet people are throwing away good stuff...
You know they could always donate stuff that could be worth something to someone else to like a St Johns Op Shop or something... Least the money made goes to a good cause... I do that with all my old clothes...
The sad thing about that is in my experience some people "donate" absolute crap to these organisations who then have to foot the bill to dispose of them. I used to own a secondhand shop and if you could have seen some of the shite that people wanted me to buy you would have laughed.I once had a woman in from Womans Refuge with a WINZ money order to purchase the absolute basics to re-establish herself ( we had previously quoted for them) I was horrified that WINZ had said no to a radio!!! Needless to say this gal left the shop with all she had authority to buy, plus a heap more non-essential things to boot for free!
Some people do donate absolute crap.. But anything decent I'd say go for it...
Had a set of drawers that go underneath your bed (doesn't know the correct name for it) came home and it was smashed to pieces on the driveway.. Mum wanted it gone and so got my brother to break it down...
What pissed me off is so many people up here have lost EVERYTHING due to the last lot of flooding.. Stuff like that is still useful and definately would be appreciated by those people who lost everything if people like us (who suffered no damage during the flooding) don't want it anymore...
No to a radio?????? Thats ridiculous..
Buffy and Mom you should be ashamed of yourselves, "A Mans Castle is his Home", and my castle is bigger than the house. And whats wrong with saving plug leads ? I've got a T chest full of them, almost used one the other day.
Well Finn is not paying his Man Bitch Dover enough so Dover has to feed the family somehow
The year was 01'...i moved to Papatoetoe from Rotorua. In the flat i moved into was a Formica/chrome table (should have kept it) and some old carpet, i put both items out on the kerb and before ya know it, a car stoped and took the table, carpet went also. Brilliant!!!...Woke up one morning and there was an old washing machine on the kurb outside my place, and some dude mucking around with it, i asked him if he wanted a hand to load it onto his trailer, he said he only wanted the wires...it went after a few days. I had no use for my old outdoor plastic table/chairs so stuck them out there on day and they went before sundown.... one mans crap bla bla...![]()
MMmm.. none of the people coming up our close look as if they're on the bread line.
Nearly all are late model 4x4s. Coincidently, 95% of them are islanders.
