    Red reflectors on the back.

Folks Just a lil note--those red reflectors on the back of the bike.--Theyre there to possibly save ya life. A blown taillight bulb on most bikes and your bikes basicly invisible-- I know a lot of you fit fender eliminators but It might pay to keep this in mind

For those with eliminators... depending on how you do it, you do have the option of sticky red reflection... I believe they should be everywhere....

I can get those reflectors as stickers in the following colours. Red / Yellow / Blue / Black and White. While all the colours reflect at the colour they are normally the Black and White ones reflect white to head lights / torch lights

It's amazing how many bikes ride around with blown tail lights and they become virtually invisible then.

Every night I check my tail bulb still works basically because it's dark in the garage and I use that light source to lock up the bike. Once a week all other lights are checked too, gives me something to do while waiting for the westcoast long coal train to go past.

    fender eliminator
    What is that?

I used the red reflective tape to put a smiley face on the back of my (red) helmet.

A red rear reflector is a requirement of the Wof

The Virm states it must have at least 1 red rearward facing reflector and it must be visible from 100 metres.

Good call Frosty. A rear facing reflector is worth it's weight in gold dust at night if your tail light bulb is'nt working. Just as an added safety net, you could also consider fitting an LED Stop/Tail light bulb into your rear light. I have done this with mine as they are virtually indestructable with a very long life span. One other advantage is that there is virtually no current draw on your stop light, this will eliminate any damage occuring to the contacts on your brake switches, especially when stopped on a hill at a red light with one or both brakes engaged.
    Cheers

    Motorbike only search
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - CRC AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE CRC. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE
