EARLY morning pootle to Tauranga! - 12/5/07

Master Blinger and champion of all thins shiny Mr GOjoe1313 and I are departing at around 0600 on the morn of the 12th, headed for parts semi-known to procure a shiny new RZ with which to fawn over, fondle, caress and generally have a bloody good time resurrecting!

Any 250 folks wishing to have a nice early pootle to the 'ranga and back are welcome to accompany us, we will be restricted (pardon the pun!) to sharing 6 tyres between the 2 of us, as we first must humiliate Dandi (the new addition to the KB fold) by strapping her to a most excellent trailer and dragging her north behind a most semi excellent station wagon.

I expect we won't see a certain Z fellow putting his hand up for this...

We're heading down early to give us time to collect Dandi, breath in the fine sea air of 'ranga and then get back to civilisation in time to quaff vast quantities of Ginger Beer and scoff many artery clogging foodstuffs, whilst looking at a collective pile of bike porn.

Oh, and a L plate or three may be given the 'ol arson treatment...

    Hyuk hyuk yuk!

'Tis true, picking up Dandi from Toerange meant .. Road Trip! In a cage but if anyone wants to head that way with a support cage and two demented fellows chortling in it, be our guest! I'll try to restrain Donor from hitting rear tyres

Early trip out so we can be back in the arvo to scoff heart stopping delicacies and washing it down with sugar laden carbonated products while behaving in a loutish fashion!

I was thinking of putting the little ol'Hornet on the spare rack, but if people want to ride along, we'll leave it empty!

Righto, where did I put that air rifle ...

, working that morning , would of been a good excuse to see the folks whilst i was at it.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Hey! I resemble that remark! Wrapped up in tight white strait jackets whilst cackling madly into the night! Mind you, if we arrived back at night, I think we took a wrong turn or three via National Forest or somesuch (I'm notorious for that )

'Sides, it takes one to know one!

Remember, this event will go down in annals as a mad-cap stunt of derring-do, virgins will be deflowered, ships of the line gutted and holed, boarders repelled and pieces o'eight plundered into overflowing coffers!

Not little will be the madness! Not small the pisstaking!
We few, we undaunted, fortune seeking rapscallions -
Will be off to make our mark, to be written in despatches
And dark tales told around fire-lit camps about our japers!

Huzzah! With a hey nonny, hey nonny no,
From Dorkland our sails shall blow - to the straits of Toerange
And before the weather guage turns, we shall be back sipping
Hot coco and warm mittens with a small bag containing a creature
    That goes "neep!"

Arrrr! Weigh Anchor! Splizzen the mainbraces! Hackafore the yardlegs and spliff the gwatches!

We cast our lot to the winds, may fortune favor the bold and insane!

We will be setting sail from Port BP Papakura Autobahn! Avast! I guess we shall be there at 6.00am ready to leave at 6.30am! I know how road trips go - never on time to ensure the Gods of Travel are appeased - Petrol, Oil and Lubricants shall be sacrificed to them so clear roads and blue skies are encountered!

Tomorrow we shall plunder a most excellent trailer from the aptly pirate named Hellraiser! Scupper me lads! I'm three sheets to the wind and looking forward to the spray of sea from those Toerange climes! Arrrr!

Still space in the mighty Donormobile and a spare rack on the trailer for any brave me hearties!

Avast ye landlubbers, I'm off to sharpen my cutlass and put some wild weasels down my puffy shirt! Puts hairs on ye chest it does! Arrrr!

The other half demands time on friday night and I have my nephews first birthday on sat

Not to mention my tyres are getting paper thin and I can't afford to replace them ..... WTB winning lotto ticket.

What time will you guys get back? Are you gonna have a little L plate burning session at someones house or give the new/old bike a once over? I'm home free from about 2pm onwards! I'll even bring my half mangled L plate with me, even on my bike, if we are to do a ceremonial burning.

As of this moment, the ride is put back to sensible hours!

Due to a hitch in the loan of a trailer (hur hur!) It turns out the services of those mighty orange people at Hirepool Takanini will be used! 7.30am they open and at the gates we shall be!

This means a departure time of 8.00am! If anyone is still keen because of this more sensible time, PM Donor or me so we can arrange a meet-up at BP Autobahn!

If not, then it will be a stop and go to the mighty Toerange! There we shall dine in illustrious company of DMNTD as we get him to spill his guts about the ins and outs of Slight!

    Huzzah!

021 03 76501 be my contact number! Last one to leave is a landlubber! Arrrr!
