got my bike gassed up. radar detector wired up and sitting in meanies garage ready to go. I going over there at 5.45am and we are out of here at 6am.

If I wake up early enough I'll be in. If not then "oh well!". Got everytink packed, the bike gassed and oiled, me gassed. Could even be a frost tomorrow, bit nippy out. Just remind me to top up the oil at the 450-500 km mark ok.

radar detector...nice....you leading then i take it....will keep a close eye on your tail lights

got those lithium battieries for the gps - it says sunrise is 7:25am (!!!) we should be damn near in hawera by then

bike is gassed and ready to

, got a tailbag for it now too so im bringing coffee and bikkies for early morning sustenance (as well as my polyprops)

looks like we are gonna get wet - probably would've been better today (bloody metservice cant make their firkin mind up!)

will have extra storage in the camera so will be taking a few vids/pics along the way

Just saw the weather forcast, didnt look the best but what would they know about the weather they always seem to get it wrong

jsut checked met service and it is ok. scattered showers all over the place but I dont think they will come to much.

a few showers .. but hey they get it wrong on a reg basis

look forward to hearing bout it ... & yes if anyone seriously breaks down 86 & dogs has my cellie .. am sure u4ea & I can do a trip with a trailer ..
