yer nice helmet Yod!!!..and am keen to hear how it goes for noise reduction and how the additive works as well...........![]()
there's no way it could be worse than my old one for noise - that thing was shocking - i've been using ear plugs lately and thats made a HUUGE improvement - hopefully i wont need them with this one, it certainly looks like it seals below the ear pretty well....we shall see
i've got a slight miss at higher revs and 86 suggested some fuel cleany type stuff might help - may as well try it, gotta be cheaper than rippin it to bits!! i've had the plugs out and they were pretty messy so a clean out is probably a good thing, for the carbs and valves too
fingers crossed...

Funny you should mention the feul additive, bro reckons I should try some, the bike puffs out a faint puff of fuel smoke upon starting, a little rich I guess. he put some in his Subbie ant felt it made a difference.
That would be like promising my first born dude!
dont waste your time or time will waste you
Hey Yod, very nice helmet mate!
Yep, I am definitely convinced those additives do make a difference, especially after I checked the website. I know it's their own hype, but it does make sense, and any residue would be quickly blown through the exhaust system I'd say. Without specialist knowledge I guess it comes down to trust in the product in the end. It does say that any engine or fuel treatment is best used around town as it gives the additive time to dissolve any deposits of carbon and fuel gum.

I find using ear plugs with my new helmet is great, you can really 'feel' the environment you know.
Shame you guys can't make this trip, it will be big and getting out of bed on Monday won't be fun but, next time eh![]()
dammit....its not a bad day for a toodle - i gotta start my own damn company and ditch the 8:30-5:30 rubbish!!
