Thread: What d'ya think? ... RED REP debate

Yeah Virago - I think people need to be aware there have been several aliases over the last few weeks...

Try not to take things too seriously - If it looks like an alias and smells like one... the chances are it is one!

    Cheers Joni,

Are the aliases hard to weed out? I'm surprised that some people still try.

Well. I'd have given that comment green but I've gotta spread it round.
    Thanks for the laugh anyway...

I'm not sure it would be possible, but I'm thinking that some sort of running comment along the bottom of a thread with people's comments (good and bad) may be a good idea. Those posting a comment would have their name next to their comment, so others could see what they had said.

That would probably stop a lot of the red rep comments like this: "your sick and dillusional", "Why the fuck are you commenting in a thread when you admit to hating kids crazy lady?", "nioce. a new low attacking my mother. she is ten times the woman you will ever be.", "Shit I am getting heaps of green bling mouthing off about you.Certain folk positivly hate you", "BURN HER AT THE STAKE I SAY", "christ thats bitchy", "I'm baaack lol", and "HELP>>>ME>>>>STOP>>>>>> BAHAHAHAHAHA", etc. When you look at the posts the red rep was for, it certainly was not warranted. And if this person got heaps of green bling for attacking me, then this just shows how low KB has sunk recently. I only got red rep from this one person, no other person felt strongly enough to red rep me - they were all upfront and gave their views in the thread, which is the way it should be.

I have sent PMs to people to explain my views in private and in most intances this has resulted in a cessation of the abuse. In this instance I didn't bother and the moderators obviously felt this poster had gone too far and he was sinbinned. I got red rep from a newbie soon after, so I guess he came back, but that alter-ego has disappeared now too!
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

I think we should keep it but let us see who actually posts it. Unless I'm missing something obvious..
