    Change of Guard

I only started the site as a hobby and it has grown beyond expectation. The amount of time/effort required to deal with the day to day issues of running Kiwi Biker is more than I wish to deal with.

As of today I will be handing the running of Kiwi Biker over to our 4 senior moderators. I will still own the site, the KB brand and pay the bills. I will also continue to look after all technical issues, keep the site software up to date and add any features that will help make the site a better place for it’s members. Major decisions like requiring access fees or putting advertising on the site, etc (neither of which will ever happen) will still be mine to make.

The senior mods will have complete control over site rules and their enforcement, forum layout and content, moderator decisions/behaviour and what can and cannot be posted on the site.

To this end I will be setting my receiving of PMs to mods and buddy list members only.

So from now on please contact the senior mods (Hitcher, Joni, onearmedbandit & SPman) for site related issues.

Remember the Kiwi Biker site is only what you make it, since it is you the members who provide the content. All I do is provide the space. So thanks to all who have provided so much over the years.

(Checks calendar - no it's not April 1st).

Spank, it's been a pleasure. This site has grown incredibly, and is an integral part of hundreds, nay thousands of lives.

I'm glad to see that you're retaining overall control. Hopefully you will get more time to spend posting twaddle on KB.....

if this isn't another finn type windup - thanks for everything you have done, fella ... must have been a mammoth task to carry the load this far and this well .......enjoy a bit of a rest, but it doesn't mean you'll stop posting, does it?

said it before and say it again - this is a great site ... and, irrespective of what you say, a great deal of that has been down to you and YOUR efforts

    thanks again

Without you, Spank, we all wouldn't have the site that we have. For all the laughter, fights, backstabbing, friends and tears - Thanks. I know you're not going and you'll be around, but for getting this place to the state that it's in now, thanks.
