    Need 17" rear wheel for vfr400r to race

    does anyone have a 17" rear wheel for a vfr the rvfs made a 17" which can fit on a vfr does anyone have a wrecked one

    not sure on this but i cant see any benifit going 17"? unless tyres...

    main benefit is tyres.... especially if yo uwant wets..
    also it improves the handling...
    (sorry Tom, cant help ya locate one, i'm looking for one myself )

    ring the guy i gave you the number for,
    get someone with good eyes to go and check wheel is not buckled
    then offer the hick 20 bucks

    theyre the same as NC29 CBR400's and MC21 and MC28 NSR250's as well (you may already know that)

    Nope they're not... Same as the MC28 as that also has a single sided swing arm, but the NC29 and MC21 have normal boring swingarms....

    I have a RC30/RC45 6x17 inch rim for sale if ya wanna stick a 190 section rear tyre on the back of ya NC30.... Rubs a bit on the swingarm tho...

    I was assuming that it was the pre NC30, having an 18 inch wheel but obviously not. I also forgot about the MC28's having the pro arm, just get a real swingarm too!!!

    I wonder if the Revere back wheel fits? Buckets n bits were wrecking one.
    The guy I'd hunt out is Henry from Takinini wreckers.He has almost given it all up but He did have a couple of 17" rears.
    The other guy I'd hunt out is Gary Pendleton--ex GP honda
    Hes raced viffers for ages so theres a good chance he'll know who might have a rear rim

    of coursethe other option is to get a GPR70 rear tyre and just say fuggit Ill go learn how to ride well with wot Ive got
