I'd just like to thank everyone for a cool time... after 4 days of ownership I have finally had a decent run on the CBR.. only one "pants" moment (near masterton) when i went into a right hander at 120 (or something) and made the mistake of looking at the bank for a second!!!!!.. re-focused on the vanishing point, pulled on some throttle and now have no chicken strips! she laid over like a dream, and after that adrenalin rush, I felt fine for the rest of the day... a heap more comfortable than the zeal (used to have a sore rear after an hour).
and it corners well too... thanks pirelli, for building the sport demon. the old arrowmax on the zeal would have seen me in an ambulance!
and way to go bevan! that gn 250 of yours rocks!!!!
good to meet y'all
Thanks again everyone!
specially Paul in NZ, Lynda and Hamish!
Hope the hangover's gone Jimmy![]()

Quickly fixed that with that boost of skill you get, when you really need it
Wouldn't slide it on purpose, cos I don't know for sure what to do when it does hehe. I guess I just eased of the gas.
and needs a quick weld!

I got pelted, mostly with fine to large sand, some small stones, by a few bikes heading up the water tower road. I guess, for me anyway, I try my best to dodge bad road patches AND stay out of the direct path of the bike infront. Sometimes you just can't help it
