    Its called tit cricket.
It's only when you take the piss out of a partially shaved wookie with an overactive 'me' gene and stapled on piss flaps that it becomes a problem.

Whatever it is, I hate it. I wonder get why he inflicts it upon us when neither of us like that kind of music? It would be like two atheists watching a church-related program on a Sunday morning...

Same here! I worked on a newspaper and the features writer sounded like he was dying all the time. He didn't smoke but it sounded like he had a 40-a-day habit and was coughing up big globs of phlegm all the time. It used to make me sick!

I also hate sniffers, but I think the thing that annoys me the most when I am out and about would be people who don't lift their feet when walking so all you hear is the sound of their jandals or ugg boots or whatever scuffing along the footpath! I feel like yelling "lift your bloody feet!"

And smokers at outdoor events - we always manage to end up near smokers and often there is nowhere to move away from them.
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

Snap. I used to get a cuff round the ear for not picking my feet up as a child. Apart from laziness, there's no excuse!!

    "Managing my expectations"

Software Development Manager fails to perform - keeping our SW current and compatible with the Operating Systems etc it is suppsed to run on.

Or (just today) explainming to me at length why the Dell laptop I bought is so hard to configure with XP, it's a risk and will take a ton of configuring prior to me spending time out of the office as of Friday.

Lots of words - lots of explanation... too much in fact. He breaks the cardinal rule of lying. Keep your answers short and simple. The attempt to cover it up is obvious - too much justification.

The other problem he has is my Sys Admin background. While I'd be a right menace at it now (7 years since really hitting a UNIX keyboard) I'm still able to work out that chopping up a 160GB HD into 5 pieces, installing XP, Office, and VPN and testing it all should not take the 8 working days it has thus far. Considering the guy doing it has very little else on his plate (yes... I checked)... WTF?

So today I'm in a bad mod anyway, and the Dev Manager pipes up and says "oh it can't be done for these 5 reasons... bcc's the CEO on it and expects me to sit and wait nicely...

The poor sod just painted a target on his back, and asked me to fetch me shootin' stick.

You can't even string a sentence together and you're making yourself look like a right twat. Go and take a few deep breaths.

Most annoying habit? Probably a toss-up from the following:

    1. People who think they're still in LOTPIHGAD when "contributing" to other threads.

    2. Sin-binned KB addicts who go to unimaginable lengths to get back into the gargre just to piss people off.

    3. Endless mindless video clips recycled from other web sites. I have this brilliant idea of creating a site especially for this. I think I'll call it "Youtube.com." Maybe it will even catch on...

Oh, hang on, this is probably one of those "self-awareness" posts where one gets to guess what others perceive as one's most annoying habit. How's this then?

    1. Moaning about the illiterate.
