    Yes thats almost now.

The VMCC AGM will be held at Evans bay Yacht club on the 15th May 2007 at 7:30pm.

Think its important that people show up to these events to ensure the future of the club.

This was a new thread in racing but one of the mods must have thought it has nothing to do with racing so merged it with this thread.

While lamenting tonight about my loss of track time with the F3 150cc ban, I was thinking about what other ways this loss could be made up.

Had a thought about possible lunch break tuition sessions.
If this was run in a way that still allowed all the marshals and Race day officials to have there break, it may be a productive use of that time.

From the point of view of safety, only let two bikes on the track at a time. (as there are No flag marshals on the corners)
    A Trainer and a Learner.
These riders would ride close together and have maybe two laps to do a training exercise. Then they would come in and talk about what just happened, while another two bikes went out for their two laps.

Perhaps the first lap could be the Trainer showing some aspect like Body position, braking points or lines for the corners. Then they would let the Learner pass them and observe what they are doing, to comment on later.

    What would this need?
Riders/Learners wanting to learn a few pointers.
Experienced riders, willing to give a few pointers.
Might be helpful if the 'Teachers' where riding the same type of bike as the learners. ie. the Vic club 150's
One person in Pit lane, controlling the exit onto the track.

If there wasn't many Learners wanting to use this service, then those that do would get to go out again and practice what the Teacher had just suggested.

I would be willing to be the person controlling the session, but obviously, as I'm still a learner, it would be better for me to be making use of these sessions.

I am not trying to make more work for the race committee.
And sorry this thought wasn't brought up earlier so it could be discussed at tonights AGM.
But Thought I'd mention it here to see what input others might have.

    Racey.
