    New progressive DR650S rear shock for sale.

    I have a brand new rear shock for a Suzuki DR650S ( 1990 to 1995 ) It is a Progressive 420 series . This wont fit the later model SE models as I found out . Cheers Toddy

    This shock is brand new and fits Suzuki DR650S ( 1990 - 1995 ) It wont fit later model DR650SE models as i found out. Cheers Toddy

    Looks like I will have to reply to my own thread to bump it back up , surely one of yous has a mate with a older DR that needs a new shock. Cheers Toddy

    Could it be modified to fit 96 and on?
    What's the differences?

    I looked at that myself , mountings are the same but the shock is about 50mm to short and wouldnt have enough stroke . Cheers Toddy

    So it's a possible for someone who has a lowered DR650 then?

    You would need to get an earlier bike and see what differences there is in the rear swing arm and dog bone ect , I thought about making an adaptor to lenghten it but my mate said being shorter stroke would bottom out earlier and be stiffer as well . Get an earlier bike and see what diferences there is. Cheers Toddy
