"Speak in short, homely words of common usage"
I've been telling people this for years. Brand name chain is for people who don't know the difference - the sort that think chain side plate thickness is the deciding factor in its ultimate strength or wear rate and so heavier must be better.
If it wasn't for a concise set of rules, we might have to resort to common sense!
I'm a little anal about looking after drive chains and as a consequence I've never replaced one. I usually sell or trade my bike before the chain wears out.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?
So thats your excuse for changing bike every 2 seconds Jim!! I've been wondering what it was.
"Not one day that we are here on this earth has been promised to us, so make the most of every day as if it was your last, and every breath ,as if it were the same"
nice it tells me my rk xso chain that i brought for the 600 one of the best around, i also went down to a 520 instead of stock 525, after the stock died(28,000kms)
An interesting read, I will file this for chain replacement time. Cheers.
