Well, it happened about 30mins ago!
The house(aparment) starting moving around! Shit!!!! Earthquake!!!!!
the kitchen is a bit of a mess so we are cleaning up all the broken glass now.

Omg, there was an earthquake down here aswell around the same time. Probably linked some way actually, even though your thousands of kms away. Not very big though, only lasted for 3 or 4 seconds.

well it was more like 15-20sec here as every thing was quite, as I was at the puter and shit was ratling well be for I felt the shacking the montor was wobling all over the place, this house sits on 6m driven concrete piles which I would expect act like an amp transmiting the vibes into the house.
    cheers DD

Well Glad you are ok, earthquakes are real scary, we have had a few really bad ones here over the years and fortunately this place has stood up to them, the neighbours haven't been so lucky, chimney etc collapsed, at least the japs are aware of the problem and build accordingly.
