I don't think so. Look at what happened during the two big fuelprice increases that happened over the last year or so. Fuel went up and some cagers took public transport. When it went back down they happily hopped back into the car.

Our fuel price now is almost the same as in the height of the "OMFG! I can't afford that!!!" increases, yet nobody is bitching.

Strange that the dollar is incredibly strong, yet the price of Benzine at the pump has yet to lower...

Anyone know where the boundary between "Auckland" and "not Auckland" will be? I think I'll buy a petrol station just south of that line....

This is acurate as Bird Flu warnings, but I was told at work that Sth Auck demarcation line was Tuakau. This is where I think we should "All be part of "BIKERS RIGHTS ORGANISATION" We are not part of the problem, but we will roll over and spread them once again. Bikes will allieviate the problem . But we will as Kiwi's will put up and shutup. The Aussies fought GST until it was forced on them we just "Sucked the Sav' cobber. I can understand why people want to emmigrate. Rant over. In the present boring environment I'll probably be banned. Bring back FINN and DOVER

Funnily enough, I think most of Auckland wakes up every morning and thinks "Thank God ZeroIndex isn't in Auckland" (P/T before I'm Sin Binned)

Yep, we don't have anywhere near as many cops, not sure who told you we have good roads tho, must have been a labour politition, we have to ride dirt bikes so we can get out of the potholes.

Meh it's not so bad. It usually costs me $10 for near 300kms, like anybody who rides a motorcycle ever cares about the price of petrol? OK, maybe some thou riders.

The reason for the tax is to build new roads. Why are we complaining? Less congestion and cagers clogging up the roads, for about a dollar every week? Care-factor=0.
