    Niiiiice!

Hmmmm, maybe one day I'll be able to tell my kids about how MotoGP champ Dom Jones sat down and talked to me for about an hour about arm pump, and racing in general.... made me miss a race he did

Marvellous result for his first race weekend with the team, and on a CBR1000 instead of the Suzuki too. I was very stoked seeing his name run across the top of the screen during the race broadcast, it's great to have someone in particular to look out for. They did show a bit of Chandler in the first race, no #68 tho', but that'll come, I reckon. In fact, the race broadcasts are pretty crap (but aren't they all!), however, Freddie Spencer will pick up on the Honda riders (not that he's biased or anything ) and I reckon Dom will get a mention from him.
There is a LOT of depth in AMA, just a pity Mladin and Spies are a step ahead still, but look at the blokes just behind them and there's not a slouch amongst them. Dom will be hanging right on the back of them in a few races, I reckon, and in with a chance of mixing it up a bit.
It's great to see him get this opportunity, much deserved. And now to have time to train is a bonus, instead of driving and preparing bikes and not having any training schedule. I'm sure there'll be a difference just from that.
    Cheers
    Barry

Hi guys, it Dominic here. I finally signed up to this forum and just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the support and kind words that have passed through this forum lately. The weekends results were promising but hampered by a personal injury that I've been carrying of late. We really should've finish top 15 in both races but sometimes that life and we are just working towards a healthy arm for Road America in a week.

So thanks again for the support and I shall start talking abit more on this forum when I get the chance.

About time we'd like a detailed race report after each round if it's not to much trouble

If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Good to see you here, Dom.
All the best with the recovery, and go well at Road America - what a lovely place for a race track. Mind the bumps tho'

    Cheers
