    Blah

One hell of a good ride for me today thanks y'all.
Has been fun trying to learn how to ride my trailbike but managed OK I reckon.
Had an evil ride from Coroglen through to Kopu but never went above the speed limit...obviously

Had a bit of a mid life crisis feel to the ride today...

    Thanks Grahameeboy for organising.
Was great to ride again with a few mates as well as make some new ones.
    I'm glad the weather held.

Would have liked to have gone on to Coroglen with some of you but my curfew ran out while we at Whangamata!

Hah yes, along with the left side of your rear tyre..!
If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!

Why would you ride that long and that gnarly stuff if you don't have to, Its what we do, we love it.

Hope you guys had a good one, i only had time for the blat from tga to paeroa then flicked off at waihi.

Damn, that wind was insane, me and erosamin were hanging off our bikes just to keep on the right side of the road.

But some damn nice bike you jafa's have got.

And whoever it was who... well, we'll just call him 'lucky', go buy a lotto ticket man.

Thanks all for a great day. Was real good catching up with you all. Quite a big group in the end. The only good thing about the wind is that it dried the roads completely which was great.

Thanks Grahameeboy for organising that ride.

Quite a few cops around. The one coming towards us while we headed back to Kopu from the Whangamata turn off didn't seem to be too interested in grabbing anyone.

Not sure how many went to Coroglen but it looked like quite a few. We waited at Kopu for a bit just in case there were some more of ya then headed on to Auckland.

A guy who shot ahead of us on Ducati 1098 pulled up alongside us at Kopu and said the cop was using instant on and though he had a detector he passed the cop at 240kmh!!

I wasn't too far behind him at this stage but slowed up a bit and my detector went off and I pulled back to just under 120kmh as he came around the corner but he kept going and never even bothered with any of us?

Good on him, I think all of us that went through to Kopu were going somewhat over but he never turned the lights on or anything. Must have had his quota

So, was a real good day. I like those Super Dukes Extremely maneouvreable even mid corner with precise direction changes. Nice to watch.
If the destination is more important than the journey you aint a biker.
