    GN rusting and corrosion

My GN 250 is mint and I was lucky 2 get such a tidy one for such a bargan price. Now it is mainly on the nuts were I have noticed surface rust. Have made sure I polish the chrome with autosol (Im a clean freak so I do it nearly after every ride ) I have also put s bit of CRC on there to stop more of the rust and corrosion now is this the right thing or does anyone else have any other IDEAS.

Silicone spray. Or you can get a product called "gun dry" from hunting shops. It actually soaks into the tiny pores of the steel and repels water for upto 48 hours. I use that before a long distance ride or every few days during winter.
