    MotoGP tyre cover-up?

The latest Moto GP at LeMans, Fantastic riding in the wet, but when the race was finished and the bikes on the winning pad they had their back tyres covered up I asume to keep the cameras off looking at them. Why do you think this was?

All the teams run around at the end of the race and inspect the other bikes to see if they can garner any idea about the setup of the bikes and the tyre compounds the winner used.

If they can get away with it.

It isn't sinister, it's just part of the "game".
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Like Jim said they do it everytime, you see them checking the temps of the tires after the race sometimes as well before the covers go on

I wonder how Yamaha get on checking Rossi's tyres after he wins a race, as he normally does a horrendous burn-out !!!

haha yea that might get the temp on it up a bit, and the wear pattern might be changed somewhat
