Wanted: a rooted engine I can dismantle to find out what's inside

Anyone got one? I have seen pictures of what's inside but I'd like to take one apart to see for myself.
I can return it to you if you'd like, but it will be in ten thousand unlabelled bits.
I can pay... um, about $50 I suppose. What are these things worth?

Wellington region preferred for me to pick up in my flatmate's station wagon.

hey dude, i saw an inline four cyclinder for sale on trademe. it was for 60 bucks no reserve, however it was in aucks.. prolly not worth the effort shipping to wellington. It would be cool to rip apart, heaps of schznickle to look @ being an inline four cyclinder 16 valve, with gear driven cams.. something different. heres the link

Steam, I'd ask a couple of the boike shops. They get stuff all the time that is trashed. They might even let you pull it apart, throw away the busted bits and give them back anything that's useful.

I have a lovely gsx250 engine with a spun big end bearing in the shed. I have already taken the head off and one of the pistons off for you. you can have it for $5 if you pick it up, in the bay of plenty :P

Ooh... that's tempting!! I don't have any idea about engines lol... all I know is there are lots of confusing parts in them.

Bummer there is no room in the garage for it though
