    Pistony mess

Funnily enough, the external symptoms were lack of power and some bits of metal floating in the oil.

It looks like a small end seizure in addition to total fall apart of the piston skirt.
The cylinder has some scoring, and I'll need a new piston and pin.
Anyone got a spare GL145 barrel?

I've got one that a valve has bounced around in... and a conrod, a modded cam, a good gearbox etc.

What do you want for your cylinder head?

There is some scoring in the barrel that could possibly be bored out. Can anyone recommend someone in the Wellington region that take care of this?

I see on TonyB's site that +0.5 and +1mm piston kits are available, I think the scoring is deep enough that I'll need the +1.
