Craftsmen. Shipbuilders. People who could take a bunch of sticks (and nails, and tar etc.) and make shit out of them that worked really well, and that, fukkit, lasted for like a hundred years. The Part-Of-History ancient crusty things, that show you a bit of where you've come from that otherwise you wouldn't have had a chance to see.
And now maybe people won't get that chance any more.
