Where in Manurewa are you two?
I'm sure there'll be another learner friendly/250 themed ride soon enough, would be good to see you there.. haven't met any fellow manurewian's yet !

Good on ya! Heaps of good rides out south. I'm very happy with mine. Commute to work from Papakura to the city as often as possible.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Thumbs up Might as well hijack tis thread...

Have ditched the 4wd in the drive and opted for the yellow GT250R as well. Definitely beats sitting in long lines of traffic burning up diesel.

But who come up with this ridiculous restriction stuff? That's my only gripe. The bike's great.

So, if you see another yellow one around Auckland, it might just be me!

Maybe catch some of you on a ride soon.

Are the GT250Rs restricted in any way?

I should have said. The learner license restrictions are a pain, not the bike. (The 250 is restriction enough)

Despite peoples stabs at Hyo's they are a good bike for the price.

Other day pulled up to an intersection at Victoria park and there was a Hyo at the front of each direction of traffic

The Hyosung has a range of nearly 400km (23km/l and a 17 litre tank).

A good starter bike but a surprising move from a 37hp 2 smoker. you're going to drop 8 or 9 hp and you're gonna miss it. Try one before you buy one.

I've been borrowing my wife's RG this week and boy I love it! And that's comparing it to a Ducati! OK so I still prefer the Ducati but I can't sing the praises of the RG enough.
