the time has come to repower the toy below, as the cheapo chinese gears are worn out, it is powered by two small as electric motors ( one has crapped out) and two 6v gel cells 6v for slow, 12v for fast, who has some sensible ideas for repower options? the car has a steel chassis, so can be modified a bit, I was thinking maybe some windscreen wiper motors, but I have drawn a blank when it comes to gearing, maybe some pushbike chains and sprokets? any inventive geniuses out there? it has to be cheap, otherwise I may as well just buy a new one or get some gears cut....
