It’s called the Meissner Effect. The superconductive disk on the bottom is probably made of zinc, tin or aluminium. When this is cooled, by liquid nitrogen, it causes the magnet to levitate. The floating magnet induces a current, and therefore a magnetic field, and the two magnetic fields repel to levitate the magnet.
I reckon its down to the fairies though. They're fkin everywhere.
