Do you leave in your back padding when wearing your back protection?

Basically if your leather jacket has back padding or armor built into it do you remove this when you wear your separate back protection?

Having recently been down the road on my back, I'm damn glad I left that cumbersome bulky stuff in there. Protection is your friend

Just leave it in man. Better to come off and find you didn't need it after all than come off and find that you did.

Just like for a long bumpy mountain bike ride- and small chested girls- padding is your friend
