    One bad mofo.

That glint in his eye, those dashing socks. One day I'm going to be this cool.

If dad catches me on his bike, he is really going to take me down to the gay bar.

Once I get the sneer right, they'll think I'm a real biker
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Nah. Its a 1959 Ariel Leader (Ariel Motors Ltd, Selly Oak, Birmingham.

Interesting bike. 250cc parallel twin 2 stroke. The frame was a pressed steel, beam-type frame, trailing link front fork. Top speed about 120 km/hr.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Oh that's right. Saw that photo on wikipedia when I was checking up on these Ariel Square Four thingies (saw one in Motohaus, the tyre place, innit?).

Would be fantastic for English winter roads.
