I would go for something with a bit of power so you can get out and enjoy some of the beautiful roads you have here and maybe bring the missus too once you are back in the swing of it.
    Thanks Sarah,
Yes there are a nice bunch of friendly and helpful people on this forum. I am enjoying being part of the biking community again, and this is a nice addition to biking, sharing info and having a laugh!
I hope your CB arrives soon for you. 15 years is a long time not riding too, so I guess you will appreciate how it feels for me after 35 years of not riding!! But I have found I haven't forgotten too much, and am carefully finding my way back into it. My GSXF750 is an awesome bike and I'm really enjoying it. At the end of my day ... I look for a new "long way home", just to get a bit more riding time and improve my skills and get used to the bike as quickly as I can.
My wife enjoys seeing me come in the door with a huge grin on my face !! It kind of says it all really.
Thanks for your input and the welcome.
    Cheers,
    Grant.

Hi Gizzit, Get off the training wheels!, you hold a Full licence, right! , You can still hold a straight line going into a corner??? WELL My advice is lookie at something modern and Mid Range, scan the "TradeMe" lists and what ever else you can find, Bandit 6oo comes to mind, you can pick a nice one of these up for around $3500 to $4000 second hand, low Kms. Great for Comuting and will do you proud when you hook up with a few weekend riders for that Latte out of Town!! Good luck dont underestimate the safety of that little bit of extra power when you really need it! @tt@well
