Ahh that's nice, would that be the one that involved the words "cock" and "I like"?

Probably the KBers that scared me the most when I was a noob here were Spank of course, Jim2, Inline4 and Hitcher (for obvious spelling/grammar reasons)!!
Now the people that are infamous for me are Mr. Dover and Sixpackback, I think they are just hilarious and I always value McJim's opinion, so I think he's kinda famous in my mind. But I love you all really (well, most of ya!)

Love it or hate it the rep system provides a pretty neat barometer of who's famous, infamous or just another gobshite.

There are some prolific posters with very little rep - these are the bullshitters (or at least that's the opinion of those dishing out the rep).

Then there are the Famous ones (Shitloads of posts and shitloads of rep)

Then there are the infamous (Not so many posts but shitloads of rep)

Funnily enough the ones that receive the most infractions seem also to accumulate the most green rep - The_Dover and WINJA are perfect examples.

The general population of KB loves the bad boys don't they?

    Quasi:
Went on my first KB ride, ran wide on a corner (as you do when you've been riding only 3 days and decide to take to the open road), wearing a streetwear leather jacket, raggedy jeans, no gloves. He was running a competition for `who deserves a pair of my gloves the most?' I posted in a photo of my bloodied hands, and won. PMs me, asks me about gloves and I cheekily ask... `don't suppose you'd do a student discount on a jacket and pants as well?'. Asks me what size I am... next day, a huge cardboard box with jacket, pants (leather ones as well as cordura!), back protector arrive. Couldn't believe it... still a n00b on the forums... and this guy who doesn't know me gives me several hundred dollars worth of gear? From then on I've been hooked on KB, I'll always remember that debt. Made a huge impression. Once I upgrade my gear I'll be giving it back to KB. Of course he's saved the skin of many a KBer as well.

    Ixion:
I managed to destroy my engine, first time broke down because it was dying anyway, second time through my own idiocy in trying to repair it. Answered every single idiotic question I asked, put up with my whingeing, offered so much of his expertise; waded through so many long threads. Without him I would've had to sell the bike as parts, that's the truth. Hasn't posted much recently -- only a couple of posts in a two-stroke thread (of course) -- hope to see more of him around.

Of course there's dozens of people more who pull this community this way and that, and many of them have been mentioned already. I'll second Winja -- my first or second rep was from him; red, saying `Your gay' or something similarly witty . Had to laugh.

    Probably because they would say out loud, without a shred of remorse or hesistation, things that Joe Average either a)wouldnt say out of politeness or;
    b) the stuff they wouldnt have the guts to post (possibly for fear of the ensuing shitstorm)

    Thats my reckoning anyway

There are those that have very sadly passed away and they shall never be forgotten.

There are also those that have made a difference... sometimes without even knowing it.
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

A few people seem to stand out to me...

Colapop - famous for his great hugs.
    DMTD - Stereotypical northerner
    McJim - laughing scottsman
Skidmark - the jester and butt of many jokes
Joni - lurking shadow of authority
The Dover - self confessed homosexual
Mahaman - bizarre sense of humour
Frosty - highly respected racer and admired by many (including myself)

Just a few that I have come across in my short time on KB.

The people on KB who make it what it is... often the more outspoken ones, but there are others who just make good posts every time they hit submit. Always enjoyed reading the Kendogs posts (both of ya), cowpoos is bloody good value, xerxesdaphat's long thread fixing up his CB250RS engine... others who always seem to add something of value (to me, sorry if I've missed some out): Scumdog, Motu, Ixion, DMNTD... and of course Cola

Another one: Gijoe1313. Gotta love reading his posts.

There's quite few who stand high in my estimation, those we all know like Dangerous, Jantar, xeresdaphat (for good nature and perserverence) Terbang, 98tls, Nighthawk etc etc - you know the usual suspects.....(sorry if I've left somebody out - I KNOW I've left out heaps that should be here but hey, I've only got a 18.3 second span of attention)

But the 'bolt-from-the-blue' nomination from me is Trashy.
Never met me, never spoken to him but very early on in the KB experience he posted me a XN85 workshop manual free!

    His only comment?

"You can shout me a beer the next time we meet"!!

    The NEXT time???

Still to meet him for the FIRST time.

It's that kind of person that attracted me to staying with KB.

You can shove the meally mouthed ranters that blow hot air to get attention up you arse though.

Post like that you can see why Scumdog got listed early on in this thread.

When you've been on KB as much as I have you can't read everything. You begin to scan threads/posts for the people who you rate as good posters.

Poster boys if you like (and Girls if you're hot).

So, you are automatically disregarded if all you ever do is farking post jokes (BORING), most of your posts/replies are based on sexual innuendo (lame), losers who try and rock the boat and just get ignored anyway.

Obscure senses of humour (LBTW), farken good online mates who always make sure you're ok (KS19, Joni), riders whos riding skills preceed them (WT, DMNT, 98TLS, DEATH, flame etc), writing/review skills (Jim2) are valued.

...and farking good mates that I've met through this site.

    ...and the rapa crew (M)
