Spank: I posted a picture of my bike in Gameplanet. Spank posted saying I should check out his site, glad I did. With out this site I would probably have given up biking long ago.

Zed: One of the first people to genuinely welcome me to the site all those years ago (similar bikes at the time). I never got involved in the 'religious' debates, but full credit to him. He was a loan warrior that never wavered from his beliefs.

Winja: Some of his posts almost had me in tears.

Uncle B: I feel truly lucky to have met this man both on and off line, taken too early.

Skelstar: Talked a lot of Hornet shit. Hornet shit is good shit.

Limbimtimwim: Organised what is probably the best road trip I have been on and helped me buying my new bike (even if it is a Suzuki)

The rappa crew: (Lissa, elle33f, Ronin, Kinje) A great bunch of people to chat with, ride with and generally hang out with.

    Edit: Shit I forgot.......

I forgot to add you to mine as well, especially after all the nice things you said about my Hornet

I also liked our little 'moon landing' debate.

Bloody hell. That thread went all wrong really... I made the title of the thread so it didn't reflect my opinion at all. Reading the article I posted the link to only reaffirmed my already low opinion of the naysayers / conspiricy theorists, but it didn't look like that in the thread. Sigh! Ah well, in the past anyway.

Glad to be considered a worthwhile member, cheers dude

And somewhere, a Colapop reclines in his smoking jacket, a glass of eau de plonk in one hand, a cheroot at a jaunty angle in his mouth, a hand on a lovely wench who is massaging his large thighs...

Wisps of smoke curl into the air from his lighted tobacco product and a debonair raising of one eyebrow as he casts his god-like gaze over the offerings on his portal to the mortals...

His fingers dally over the keyboard, lovingly stroked by his large, mannish hands and with a casual flick enters another enchanting entry into the annals of KB.

And somewhere, the gods of biking are pleased. They are reposed in their saddles and motor off into the eternal twisting roads that beckon before them!

Colapop, you are a scholar and a gentleman of the highest order. Et tu salutant Magnus!

They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

    What did you say?

Its very interesting reading through all the posts in here. Almost like a history lesson on KB. I have always been curious to what KB used to be like, however the most facinating is how somone can post something a bit out of character and they get a PM from another member asking them if they are alright. Its all in the little things... some people on here, at least in my view hold almost 'celebratey status' making functions and events a chance to meet gifted and talented riders, from accross all walks of life.

Pretty nifty if ya ask me...

My picks are those who quitely (and not so quietly) go about the job of being as much help as is inhumanly possible any rider in any way they can.
In no order other than the order my drunken arse remembers them.....apologies if I missed you out, only really know the offline deeds of Aucklanders.

Being regarded and being held in regard are two different things.
