Did you try a Monster? I find they're like toy bikes. I couldn't get comfortable on one - my legs were far too bent. I need the pegs far back for comfort. Would have thought a Monster would actually fit you better than the ZZR.

Didnt try for size... I like faired bikes.. Monster not really something I'd go for, but in saying that... I just checked them out... I didnt realise they came in 400/600 as well... I assumed they were all thou's!... hence 'too big' comment...

YEAH!!!!!!!!! I hate that. I got totally dissed when I was a student by one of the Banks in Palmerston North... their manager cost them my business - forever.

You just reminded me to write to head office and point that out to them.



Re the bike shops - go back, CASH IN HAND, call the sales guy over and ask for his boss too... and politely let them know his treatment of you was unacceptable - and their portion of this cash is now going to (insert bike shop name here).

Try going into a lingere factory... see how you get treated browsing the stuff in there!!... same diff... Unless you got a nice saleswoman... you'd prob get ignored... This is what I find when in the majority of bike shops... sad but true

Not really - most of the women in those stores are smart enough to know when a man is there, 90% of the time he is only there to spend money.
Before i have spent 1 minute in BnT, i would have been asked "You alright there sir?", or "that would looks fantastic on your partner".
men dont window shop in stores like that.
But at then end of the day (any guy will attest to this), if you do not have success with one store.....there are plenty more out there. No need to join some black crusade.

been there done that. In the end I was confronted by alot of women asking what their men would like!LOL

But yes- take only women with you next time or find a better salesman!
