"I came into this game for the action, the excitement... go anywhere, travel light,... get in, get out,... wherever there's trouble, a man alone... Now they got the whole country sectioned off; you can't make a move without a form."
Paved roads are just another example of wasted tax payer dollars.

It was 12 September 2003, and I'd just purchased a 1987 FZR750R from a Lower Hutt Motorcycle store that isn't around anymore. Richard (who now works at TSS), had sold it to me.
Anyway, I was trolling the internet looking for some info on the bike (as you do) and I came across this dude in Auckland who had one identical to mine.
Anyway his email address was on the site, so I emailed him to talk about it, and he suggested I try kiwibiker. An hour later I was a member, and I've been here ever since.
Unlike the feller who suggested I join. Don't know what happened to him.
I'm the 220th person to join KB.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Spank, when he was first starting the site. He found me on a USA Forum, saw I was from NZ and invited me to join. Perhaps it will be time to do something else when I retire in 9 months. New horizons and all that. It's been huge fun though.
Looking for info on what learner bike to get. Google.
In space, no one can smell your fart.
Geez, didn't anyone else get a flyer left on their bike (Civic car park in jaffaland)? I may not post much but I'm in here every day. Found a lot of good info I doubt I could have found anywhere else.
Skills exceeded only by my modesty and good looks.
I was swapping reports & pix of the 06 RNGC with Holy Roller & he referred me to this sight.
I lurked on the fringe for awhile before deciding to register and join a TCWNR, thinking that I'd be riding with a bunch of young hoons.....Most of them were old bastards and I had a good time.
Looking forward to meeting more of you at next week's gathering.

Several Goooogle searches pointed me here.
Rusty Nuts web site had a report on the Southern Cross and I recognised the name of the writer.
Google search on "Southern Cross" came back with Kiwibiker and the same report.
Lurked around watching for a bit then wanted to see some of the photos attached to the tour threads I was reading. Had to sign up to do that.
Guess it was Jantar's fault really.
