I use to like some of the ones that were before my time.

The two that realy spring to mind is

Spiffing as pretty bloody good etc.

Jiggy-jig for sex. That just sounds so right.

But getting into the not so recent as in

    A happening

    Threads....... as in for clothes

Boon docks...........not a nice place to be. Can mean both a state of depression or a less than dessirable neighborhood

DA as in Ducks Arse. A bodgie hairsty where the hair was brushed like a Duck A

That's not true in this house; I often to refer to my teenage daughter as an opstreperous wench.

I was asked the other day if I was a Bogan as a teenager, I said more of a hoad really. - Guess where I spent my teen age years!!

Benzine is the stuff my Poppa ran his car on. He'd fill it at the Bauzer station (not sure of that spelling mind you).

What about "Doozy" and "Foonunga" meant something was "Crash Hot"
"Hua" implied that your parents were not married (which of course make you a coarse file).
"Sweet" meant dang, that's gonna hurt (or "Smart")

Mental Mint / Electric Puha / Chinese Parsley

A "Geeza"I worked with "Yonks" ago came out with "Use-to-could" for something he could once do but not anymore, as in "I Us-to-could run a marathon"

Mr KD, by "Snag" you are refering to "Tube Steak" not Sensitive New Age Guy?
