    Maths help ,,,,agggainnn

Sorry about this , but i keep getting the same answer , pretty sure somethings askew , as when I use this computer thingy it plots whot it should ( probably tired and cant see wood for trees

    need to expand

    0= ( X+7) ( X+3 ) ( X-2 )

    the answer I keep getting is X^3 +8X^2+x -48

got a feeling thats a crap answer

    Thanks in advance

I'm no maths genius but I reckon you're right with your suggestion that it's a crap answer.

    It's also a crap question.

    WTF?

    Might be: x^3 + 8x^2 + x - 42 ??

but it's been a long time since I did any of this stuff.

    anyways back to beer

One afternoon at Cheers, Cliff Clavin was explaining the Buffalo Theory to his buddy Norm.
    Here's how it went:

"Well ya see, Norm, it's like this. A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers."

    THis is the expansion

    [x^3] +[8x^2] -[5x] -[84]

I put the [] around so u can see the individual terms.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

    I dunno.

    I got

    x^3
    + 8x^2
    + x
    = 42

    so maybe x = 2?

but I probably arsed it up somewhere. It's maffs innit.

He has. But its the wrong answer.

KoroJ got it correct. Remember the task is to expand, not to solve.

    LardEmbargo has solved it correctly.
