check leads are in the right way round, timing etc (and have new battery on stand by) how old is the fuel..? how long has the new engine been sitting...???Originally Posted by malc999

Does sound like you might have the leads on the wrong spark plugs. Check the firing order.

yer, sounds similar to what me and the old man did on his cx500... deafened me when i started pushing him down the hill to bang start her

i got it running but turn it off then it wont start again just trying to start back to the same

I had similar on the ZX4R when the battery terminal broke off.
Check leads though. Along with Water in tank, water in carbs, dodgey cams etc.
Reactor Online. Sensors Online. Weapons Online. All Systems Nominal.
