Jetting makes a huge difference to the economy. With my FCR as it came back from MXRob with US jetting, I was stuggling to get 15kml. A bit of jetting it later and i'm between 19-20kml. I reckon I can get it a bit better with more time.
What settings did you go with Phil? I have Rob's recommended jetting in mine but am waiting for a diaphragm to arrive to fit it as it has a leak.

As far as I know, mine is running mx_rob settings apart from the leak jet being a little smaller.

Hi Eddie. I have the EMP needle in at the moment. It is in the top position (leanest) with the shim still under it) A 150 main. Havent changed the pilot yet but its still a bit rich at 1/8 throttle. I have an EMR needle to try (MXRob uses this for high altitude) It has the same taper but its a bit fatter. I hope It will put me back into the middle clip position to allow some adjustment. Here's what myself and other Aussies have been doing jet wise.

520km to a tank??? I'd better switch my black tank for a blue jobby.

    Still a bargain though.

    Renthal Bar Options?

Just ordered a new TM40 carb from Procycle and decided I may as well fit a set of new bars at the same time as I do the throttle cable changes...
Can anyone advise what is the best 7/8" Renthal Bar for the DR650SE 2008?

Did you order the throttle cables too?

I've got a set of unused ones here that I think are for the TM40 as they won't fit the stock carb.

    Screen's...

Is there a template or pattern available on-line for a screen ? I'm sure I've heard of one somewhere
Also... if anyone has some pillion footpegs they're not going to use in future, I appear to have broken one of mine when I fell off. I shudder to think what suzuki want for a new one

Update on the suspension... rear feels sooo much better now and doesn't seem to collapse when I hop on. I think the 80mm spacers in the front may be a bit much. I may whip them out and shave a few mill off them.

    Should have some somewhere.

I've got the original DR template like my TT one saved on the computer somewhere.
The guy has removed all his pics off Adv Rider as I think he's trying to patent it.

    Thumbs up

$5500 for a 2008 DR with 10k on the clock and all those extras is a great deal.
Here for a good time, not necessarily a long time
