It's not the start my friend. Unfortunately we've been losing good, thought provoking members like Ixion for a while now.

Ixion, when and if we meet, I'll have to buy you a beer

Sorry to hear that Ixion - you certainly will be missed. However, even as a new mod, I'm aware that that there is more than one side to any story and a public airing is not the place to do it. The mods are passionate bikers too mate.

    Best wishes for the future.

I think that's exactly the attitude he may be referring to.

I quite agree. I'm not an attendant at any Party Elite discussions of course, but I'd be surprised if anyone actually wanted to shunt you out, Ixion. I've always enjoyed your comments and opinions, well writ as they are. And Mr Motu, following him out of the door... sad to see you go as well.

It's a sad day for KB when two guys who were integral members of the site, and two of the most respected to boot, feel as though leaving is the way to go. I know I only speak for myself, but I've been wondering where the two of you had been.

I agree with Ixion - not many seem to care about helping newbies out, and that's a shame. Speaking only for myself I'd have really liked a mentor in Christchurch, someone to ride with frequently and learn from, hear their advice and try things out under their eye. I've tried, and failed, so I mostly ride alone now. 'Tis a shame.

Happy trails you two. I'll happily buy you a beer if I meet you.

    Fuck. Damn.

That's really shit. Thanks so much for all your help, Ixion -- immensely appreciated. This will be a huge loss to the site.

Hope to see you in a crowd of bikers one day? I'm sure you'll be instantly recognisable.

Take care, old chap! Watch those nose bleeds and watch out for deep potholes.

You know the one person who helped me out the most when I first joined has gone... passed... not his choice. Now two members are CHOOSEING to go, its just sad.

Put me right off my happy post-ride KB glow. Wish there was some way to convince you to change your mind, but knowing Mr Ixion, not even the largest keg of Speights will sway him.

No chance you'll turn up to any KB rides? I know you went to McJim's a weekend ago.

Sorry you feel the need to go. I disagree with your actions but it's respected.
