Place to stay in Nelson - Sat 02/06/07

hi all.

i am looking at coming up for a ride to nelson area with three other bikes and looking for a place to stay on the saturday night.
does anyone know of any good places?

Tahuna Beach Holiday Park 0800 500 501. Stayed there on our south island tour and it's still great. The Top 10 camping grounds are superb too.

My missus and I styed at Cobb Cottage, just out of town at Spring Grove. You can Google it or PM me and I'll email you some pics. Depends on how many bods you want to bed down; the cottage is great for a couple. Other than that the Tahunanui Holiday Camp is a good suggestion.

The Balmoral Motel in Tahuna is a goodie - very bike friendly laid back couple run it - Raewyn and Erez - coming in to Tahuna, go Left at the roundabout, then right at the 1st gas station - nice motel, good rates
