Mainly run pirellis to date, simply because of availability...
Supercorsas, old ones, nice and predictable, good wear, and did I mention predictable?

New model, heaps of side grip, like wow!! and they last really well too!!

Superbike slicks, heaps of grip, and lean angle, good warmup time from cold, and they last fairly well.

Have had a play on the current dunlop slicks, and really quite liked them once I got used to the strange initial turn in. And they just keep sticking and sticking and sticking, 8 days on the track on a front!!

All round best tyres I have used to date have to be a one off set of michi slicks.
They were AWESOME! Grip for africa, but when they began to wear, they had a nasty penchant for kicking when they let go, eg no slide or warning. Brand new, and they were the best!!
Boyd hh er Suzuki are my heroes!
The best deals, all the time!

i use pirellis on me hyosung because i can get them at a reasonable price but i'm also impressed with the grip. They last me about 4 tracks days at the mo but i'm also starting to push a bit harder now so maybe 3 track days.
I havn't had any scary slides yet and a couple of times where i ran hot into turn 1 at taupo i just leaned the bike over and squirted the gas on and they stuck like shit to a blanket.
See ya'll at rnd 2 or is this the real rnd 1???

Being I race a bucket I run anything out of the bin at the nats. Thats why I never have matched sets.

Its amazing that you can do two seasons on someones rubbish....... Not the best look ratting through the bins but i'm thinking only of the enviroment *Tui moment*.

    Easy answer for me innit?
    Conti's all the way.
    For
    1) Budget, support and intrest. There are no other companys (that I know of) where the head developer and company (Wolfgang Zeyen and Continental, respectivly) is working personally with a NZ racing team (Museum Hotel Racing and myself). We are right at the forefront of their development, in cases, leading it.
    2) Rideablitily. I havn't encountered any other tyre that is so bloody predictable and easy to ride at the limit. Feedback is awesome, and the tyre has 'give' before it snaps and tries to throw you.
    3) It suits. The RaceAttack seems to have its strenths where I want them and need them, I can just work exactly as I want to with this tyre.

Yea Jill, 160 RaceAttack's coming right up.....
