    It's called "human behaviour".

Funny how things still move the same way that they did when I was at school, fashionable crazes just rolling on by.

Spinning tops, marbles, kites, knuckle-bones, hoolahoops just to name a few.

Currently it seems fashionable to blame corporate management for customers own personal choices and decisions. (Mercury Energy?)

Even Kiwi Biker is caught up in this craze, with moderators getting blamed for individuals petulant foot stamping and personal decisions to move on!

Come on, there are threads to raise, replies to post, motorcycles to ride, write and read about.

All manner of topical things to discuss and agree or disagree about.

Life just goes on, you are either on-board or out of here, your own decision!

It's called freedom of choice, if it doesn't always go your way, get over it!

The beat goes on. Have a nice day. John.

    Nice post OAB.

Just one question still concerns me a little.

How the hell long did it take you to type that with one hand? Fark me, it's an epic!! Well done.

Sort of like "You don't know what you've got, until they put up a parking lot" ?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Well, I'm a mod too. Just for Rant & Rave. I hardly touch anything in there ever. I'll merge the inevitable joke repost threads, and that's about it.

But I was really upset by a blindside attack on a mate, so I haven't commented publicly.

It's very tempting to just log off and go look at bikini dot com instead. No one seems to care about bikes anymore, just who rules the virtual playground. If being a virtual Playground King means being a Senior Mod, well I ain't aspiring to that thanks.

For those of you who think you can do better, the software is called vbulletin, domains cost between $US90 and $US300, and site hosting charges are massively variable depending on the QoS you want.

I think I'd rather get my first traffic ticket than ride with a KBer at the moment.

always two sides to a story ..

kinda like storm in a teacup .. sad but life moves on ..

when ppl feel as they do then they have outgrown a site .. its their decision to feel affronted & their choice to stay or leave

For what it's worth. I am very new to the forum and am damn pleased to be a member. I have learned a whole heap of stuff from browsing the threads. I have been riding for a LONG time but have been humbled by the depth of knowledge here.I have chuckled at some of the interactions. I have nothing but admiration for the people who have given up their time to help others out. I have seen a number of threads where people have gone out of the way to give advice, offer assistance, pick up bikes etc etc. Whenever some accident or misfortune has befallen someone I see a rush of sympathy and help. It seems to me to be a real community and I can't wait to meet some of you in person. If KB was better than this it must have been out of this world. At the moment it is simply awesome.

As a long time observer I'm not sure that it is any different in the time I've been logging in (well except the last 4 weeks). Maybe there's an element of "if you seek you shall find" - all the shit in Rant and Rave probably went on just the same before you were a mod but you didn't see it.

I'd love to meet up with you jokers but for the life of me I can't think of anything geekier than calling people by some made up name (that they made up) to their face. "Hi you must be Dingbat Doober, my name is Albino." So to me it's just the internet. But I know a lot of people are passionate about this site and this is no doubt the cause of a lot of the problems. A clash of the passions, if you like. Try not to get too obsessed folks.
