Wade through it if you dare...
Good one Andrew! It took me awhile because I kept drifting off into daydreams of neverending windy roads under generally blue skies. I could another pass or gorge after that!

    Gas prices

    Anyone fill up at Haast?

What was the most ya paid for gas?

We stopped at Franz and it was $1.979/l for 91.

177.9 seemed to be the norm for 91 at most places. From memory it was about 184.9 at Fox...

Without being able to quote the latest prices, the last reasonable priced fuel is at Hawea. Makorora is the dearest, fox a bit cheaper, then Franz are back up to close to the Haast price. Ross isn't too bad, then Hokitika is starting to get reasonable again.

$2.01 for 95 at Fox, most expensive fuel (per litre) of the trip for me.
