sAsLEX - are you related to Alex De Angelis? Coz you sure look like him!

Fark me! that 250 race was intense... I think Mr Lorenzo did a fucking awesome job, full determination from the lights going out. Considering how shagged his tyres would have been from catching up it was awesome to see him still up there until his misfortune in the last lap.

As for motoGP... it was rather close at the start, but once Rossi got clear ground it was sorted. He's not playing his games like he used to a couple of years ago when he would follow for a bit, figure out peoples weaknesses, then utilize them in the last few laps. It would seem the Ducati's speed advantage has forced him to use all his skill all the time and just get as big a lead as possible and hold on to it...

I dont think the engineers found *that* much more speed. It was him showing he is a better rider. If you watched the stats at the end he was 10th fastest top speed. I think he had 302kmh top, when the fastest was a Ducati with 321kmh or something.

It's going to get interesting from here on in. Just got to hope that the Yamaha tech's get some reliability out of the bike, would hate to see rossi lose it the same way he did last year.

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

I freakin fell asleep again. Dosed up on coffee, watched the start and about 6 laps. Started thinking that this was a pretty good race when ....... .

Woke up to find Rossi on the podium:slap:. At least I got to see the highlights today. Looks like Dani is getting into some good form for his home race next week. Interesting how these riders manage to turn it on for the home crowds.

I think poor Colin's out of a (GP) job next year anyway - I read that Lorenzo will be on a Yamaha in '08. I don't get why he (Edwards) qualifies so well, looks great in practice, then is nowhere in the race. Surely the new tyre rules aren't that much of a crap shoot? He is definitely a better rider than that. It's a bit like poor bloody Bayliss, got screwed at Honda, went well on the Duc for a year, out the next to WSB, except for that last GP race which he won. I wonder if Colin's destined for that sort of future?
Great win by Rossi - apparently he was quite emotional about it, biffed his helmet into the crowd in celebration, which he never does. It's the Italian in Italy factor, I guess.
Bloody Dani needs a personality transplant - Vale and Barros having a great time in the interview, Pedrosa po-faced as ever.

    Cheers
    Barry
