Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

mail1.cemex.es does not exist, hence it's a fatal error.

Or are you asking why you got that message when you didn't send anything to that address?? Either you've got a virus or it's an attempt to make you click on something and install something nasty on your machine. If it's the latter then ignore it because it didn't come from you or your machine and is someone/something firing off emails to addresses hoping people are stupid enough to do something with them.

Looks like someone from CHINANET tried to send you a message but it failed... I'd guess spam personally.

Not likely to be a virus, I know. No webpage links - just an email addy. Haven't clicked any of it and won't. But it's the second such thing I've 'received' in the last week and it did concern me a little as to whether I've been hacked, for instance.
I will just delete it, eh?

Nuke it. It is most likely the result of a DNS (Domain Name Service) entry somewhere out there in the universe that someone entered into their outwardly facing DNS server incorrectly. An email address you are sending to is being directed to that server and failing to find its domain hosted on, or redirected from that server, so the trail dies there.

Had a look at the properties and there is nothing in there as far as email addies that I recognise except for my own. *is still wondering *

It's quite common that vaild email addresses such as your email (and mine) ends up being replicated or confirmed and used by these spam emailers.... then you start getting emails back to yourself saying your emails that you personally never sent didn't get through. I checked it out with my employers IT people - it happens all the time and is quite common. Just delete the emails. The only way to stop it is get a new email address.

You have been selected by merit to help me get $50,000,000,000US out of Nigeria. When you have it, I'll give you my acc details so you can deposit to me. You will then receive a free prize when you attend this special meeting. And no, it's not Amway or any kind of timeshare. Jeeeez...don't be so suspicious!

Well...sooorrrreeee.....It's just that my tinfoil hat was taken by government agents And strangely, every chemist was closed at 3am this morning when I went to fill my prescription. I know it's not paranoia if they really are after you. But I'm not so sure that things are what they seem....

You can try Thunderbird from Mozilla (http://www.mozilla.org). Don't know if it's BETTER, but I use it instead of O. You don't need to change your email address, just read the help files that come with the program so you know how to install and configure it. Thunderbird is a very good free email client that has few issues.

Thanks Lemure. Will keep that in mind. I don't have much trouble with Xtra or Outlook as a rule. Unlucky if someone thinks my dick is too small more than once a week etc....
